Curriculum

Our curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum modified for the international context. We focus on many aspects of child development, and our primary tool is learning through Play. We also teach, stimulate and observe the children's physical-motor, cognitive, socio-emotional and moral development, at all times providing them with the loving guidance they require to grow, learn and excel with joy.
We also have a strong focus on literacy and numeracy development through books, songs and games. Art is an important avenue for the children to express their creativity, and we also provide an introduction to ICT skills.
Fun activities such as swimming, music and movement, sports and free play stimulate all areas of development. The school playground has a variety of equipment for developing their young muscles and their coordination. Class activities such as Show and Tell teach them to observe, utilize and speak about their surroundings as they socialize. Extras such as Monkeynastics, Piano, Recorder, Taekwondo, Rollerblading and LAMDA are also available for the energetic.
Progress is monitored on a continuous assessment basis which encourages positive effort and achievement through sequential steps and feedback, and parents are welcome to consult on their children's progress.
School bus transport is available to and from most areas of Nairobi. Hot, nutritious vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals are prepared daily by the school catering staff.
