Key Stage 5
At Key stage 5, we strive to prepare students with the necessary knowledge, skills and qualifications that will advance their education. We purpose to ensure that our students succeed academically and also become responsible, informed citizens who will make positive contributions to the community. Lifelong learning is key to us. We endeavor that all students aspire to reach their full potential and set ambitious goals for the future.
The program of study available to our Key stage 5 students caters for a wide array of interests and aspirations. These range from a mixed timetable of A level and BTEC qualifications; to a purely A level course or a purely vocational (i.e. BTEC qualification) pathway.
In addition to the subjects that one studies; complementary and personal development opportunities are offered. These form a fundamental part of a student’s timetable.
- Leadership forums
- Team building
- Community service
Other enrichment programs are work experience through vetted companies.
A Levels and BTEC qualifications place substantial demands on students, in terms of the need to become independent and responsible learners whilst maturing as a person.
